What is a Full Classic car?

The term Full Classic shall mean those cars classified as such by the Classic Car Club of America. They are fine or unusual foreign or domestic low production motor cars.

Distinguished for their excellence in design, high engineering standards and superior workmanship built between and including the years 1915 and 1948 with some exceptions recommended by the National Classification Committee and approved by the National Board of Directors.

Classic Car Museums In The United States

Classic Car Club of America Museum

The crown jewel of the CCCA is the Classic Car Club of America Museum on the 90 acre campus of the Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, Michigan.

Each June the Museum is host to a themed CCCA Experience. Members from across the United States participate in local tours, visit nearby collections and view the many fine automobiles on display in the Museums and the Sunday show field.

Region members are encouraged to visit the CCCA Museum anytime during the year but being there on CCCA Experience weekend is extra special.

Gilmore Car Museum

There are nine independent museums on the Gilmore campus and while its location is ‘out of the way’ the totality of the campus and its ongoing events make for a worthwhile visit.

Many Full Classics are displayed in the separate buildings featuring Cadillacs & LaSalles, Franklins, Pierce Arrows and Lincolns.

See the below link.

Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg Museum

The Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg Museum in Auburn Indiana is home to a fabulous collection of 120 automobiles, most of which are Full Classics.
It is located in a historic Art-Deco architectural style building, and this Museum is rich in the history and exhibits of these famous marques.
